Masnedø Bulk Terminal: One of the Northern Europe’s largest bulk terminals

Masnedø Bulk Terminal (MBT), a joint venture with DLG, is located at the Port of Vordingborg and primarily focuses on grain exports, with capacity for other bulk imports.

With a total storage capacity of 150,000 MT across large warehouses and silos integrated with high-capacity drying facilities, MBT ranks among Northern Europe’s largest bulk terminals.

Efficient Loading & Modern Facilities

MBT offers load rates up to 1,000 MT/hour and supports direct vessel loading. The Port of Masnedø, ISPS-compliant with a draft of 9.6 meters, accommodates vessels up to 30-40,000 DWT, providing fast and flexible service for agricultural commodities.

Ownership

Another Joint Venture in Copenhagen Merchants Group

Masnedø Bulk Terminal was established by Copenhagen Merchants Group, Frederica Shipping and DLG in 2019.

Copenhagen Merchants Group owns several terminals in Denmark in partnership with Fredericia Shipping, as well as companies within the Schultz Group and Aarhus Protein, also jointly owned by the two companies.

DLG Group is a cooperative owned by 26,000 Danish farmers and headquartered in Fredericia, Denmark. Originally operating solely in Denmark, DLG Group has expanded over the past 20 years, evolving into a European company with operations in food, energy, and building materials. Today, it has offices in 18 countries.
