Grenaa Bulk Terminal: Specialized Hub for Wood Pellets and Bulk Commodities

Grenaa Bulk Terminal (GBT), acquired by Copenhagen Merchants and Fredericia Shipping in 2010, is a specialized wood pellet terminal at the Port of Grenaa, also handling grain, fertilizer, and salt.

With a warehouse capacity of 35,000 MT for bulk and 5,000 MT for pallet goods, GBT is equipped with screening facilities for rapid pellet sorting and a state-of-the-art 12-silo system for efficient truck loading.

Its flexible bagging lines, producing up to +1,000 bags/hour, complement Copenhagen Merchants Group backing facilities across Denmark and Sweden, making GBT a versatile hub for bulk commodities.
